Mehran Aram

Mehran Aram is the President and founder of ARAMCO and most notably the mortgage and real estate analyst for numerous radio and TV stations as well as newspapers around the state. Having been in the mortgage business now almost 30 years, he is a certified Reverse Mortgage Professional (CRMP), one of just over a hundred in the nation. He graduated from the University of San Diego (USD) School of Business in 1984 and has made a name for himself by writing and producing The ARAMCO Report®. His one minute daily radio analysis of the mortgage and real estate markets have been heard every day for more than 28 years. Mr. Aram was a regular contributor on the Roger Hedgecock show as well as the Money in the Morning program with George Chamberlin. Today you can catch his daily ARAMCO Report in Podcast form or pickup the business section of the San Diego Union Tribune. Mr. Aram has lived in San Diego for over 41 years and has been married to his college sweetheart for 33 years. He has three children, all of whom work or have worked in some capacity at ARAMCO and two wonderful grandchildren. He is an avid tennis player, has a passion for his garden filled with hundreds of roses, plumerias, grapevines, and fruit trees. Mr. Aram believes, “you should treat others the way you want to be treated.”
