Report: List your home for sale on a Thursday to make more
There’s Black Friday shopping, Amazon Prime Day and home buying season. All days when consumers flock to make big purchases. But when it comes to home buying, experts suggest that there is one day of the week that sellers should list their homes to attract the most buyers.

According to data from Zillow, homes listed on a Thursday sell faster and for more money than those listed on any other day of the week.

Thursday is already a prime day for listing homes. Nationally, 21 percent of homes are already listed on that day. Listing a property right before the weekend ensures it stays on top of the new home for sale list on many MLS sites when buyers start their weekend browsing.

On the flip side, only 13 percent of homes are listed on a Saturday or Sunday and tend to sit on the market for longer.

Meanwhile, conforming no-point 30-year fixed mortgage rates are averaging 2.875 percent and 15-year rates are near 2.25 percent.
