Atherton, California, home to tech-titans like Google’s CEO, boasts a median home price of $7.05 million – the most in the nation.
While the Golden State dominates the top ten most expensive zip codes, the second place spot is Sagaponack, New York with its median home price of $4.3 million according to PropertyShark’s reporton the subject. This is followed by Santa Monica, California ($4.15 million) and the infamous 90210 is ranked number 4 with a Beverly Hills home costing $4.08 million.
Rancho Santa Fe in San Diego County – zip code 92067 – is considered the 29th most expensive in the nation with median home prices topping $2.41 million.
Today, conforming no-point 30-year fixed mortgage rates are averaging 3.875 percent and 15-year rates are near 3.375 percent.
